Green Bay Packers have signed free agent quarterback Vince Young, according to a report.
Young has been out of the NFL since being cut by the Buffalo Bills last season as he failed to beat Tyler Thigpen for the backup job at the AFC East side.
Mike McCarthy has moved to bring the 30-year-old to his team on a one-year deal to compete for the second-string job behind All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers, reports ESPN.
Young was drafted third overall in the 2006 draft by the Tennessee Titans and was voted to two Pro Bowls in 2006 and 2009.
