The Jacksonville Jaguars have said that they are hopeful that Maurice Jones-Drew will be able to play against the Tennessee Titans later today.
The running back missed last week's 27-20 defeat to the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury, which has also limited him in practice this week.
NFL Network reports that Jones-Drew will undergo a pre-game workout to test the injured muscle but the AFC South side are optimistic that he will play.
The 28-year-old has 719 rushing yards and five touchdowns for the Jaguars this season.
