The Miami Dolphins have shut out the San Diego Chargers in the first half of their NFL clash at the Sun Life Stadium this evening, heading into half time with a 20-0 lead.
Mike Wallace came close to finding the endzone early on when Ryan Tannehill looked for the wide receiver, but he could not hold on to the long pass out wide.
The quarterback did manage to find the endzone a couple of plays later though as he threw a short ball to Charles Clay, before the tight end ran it in.
The AFC East side doubled their lead at the start of the second quarter when a big run from Tannehill got Miami back downfield, leaving Lamar Miller with a short run for the endzone.
A Philip Rivers interception shortly after brought the Dolphins offense back into the field, and while they could not find the endzone, Caleb Sturgis added three more points with a field goal, and kicked again before the break.
