The Minnesota Vikings have headed into half time with a 17-7 lead over the Miami Dolphins at the SunLife Stadium this evening.
Caleb Sturgis had a chance to open the scoring for the home side, but the kicker's 56-yard attempt came up just short of the goalposts.
The Vikings capitalised on the next drive, as Matt Asiata burst over from just a few yards out to score the opening touchdown.
The AFC East side struggled to pick up yards as they tried to get off the board, but the Vikings looked strong at the start of the second quarter, resulting in Greg Jennings hauling in a 21-yard pass from Teddy Bridgewater.
Miami got themselves back into the game before the break, though, as Ryan Tannehill spotted Dion Sims in space in the corner of the endzone.
However, the Vikings were back in the red zone before the end of the half, allowing Blair Walsh to kick another three points for the visitors, extending their lead to 10 points.
