New York Jets general manager John Idzik has admitted that his side's recent form is "painful" to watch as they slipped to their seventh defeat in a row.
The Jets dropped to 1-7 in their campaign as quarterbacks Geno Smith and Michael Vick conspired to turn the ball over six times in their 43-23 defeat to the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium.
"It's painful," Idzik told reporters. "It's particularly painful for our fans. We're in a business where our actions affect so many. Our actions affect Jets Nation."
Rex Ryan's side currently have the second worst record in the NFL, behind only the 0-7 Oakland Raiders.
