Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has praised the performance of Fletcher Cox in his team's 39-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Cox made six tackles, which led to three sacks of Saints quarterback Drew Brees, as well as forcing two fumbles and recovering another loose ball during the rout at Lincoln Financial Field.
However, Kelly is adamant that it was only a matter of time before Cox produced that kind of display for the Eagles.
He told reporters: "I'm going to give the credit to the back end today. All three of those sacks were coverage sacks.
"I knew it was going to be a grind playing against a Hall of Fame quarterback. Drew Brees was getting the ball out early, and the couple times he held the ball we got great coverage and were able to get after the quarterback."
The Eagles are currently 2-3 in the NFC East, tied with the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins.
