Seattle Seahawks fullback Spencer Ware has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Ware was taken in by police in the early hours of Sunday morning before being released from King County Jail at 4.23am.
The rookie has not featured for the Seahawks since week two of the season, remaining inactive until October 22, when he was placed on injured reserve with an ankle problem.
The Seahawks have confirmed that they are aware of the incident, but declined to give any further comment.
Seattle are rated as the number one seed in this season's NFL playoffs and will face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game on January 19 having overcome the New Orleans Saints 23-15 in the divisional round on Saturday.
