The Paralympics opening ceremony could be forced to start an hour-and-a-half later than scheduled due to a delay in the torch relay.
The famous flame is behind schedule following an event at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital, which overran.
"We are running approximately one hour 30 minutes late due to the late finish of the Stoke Mandeville event and the time required for multiple exchanges of the Flame between team members," a LOCOG spokesman told the Daily Mail.
"Overnight we have refined the exchange process and are making up time."
The ceremony to mark the start of the Paralympic Games is due to begin at 8pm.
