Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James returned to Miami earlier this week in order to continue his rehabilitation process.
James has missed the last six games due to back and knee strains, and he explained that the hot weather in Miami was considered a factor in helping him recover.
"I'm on a programme right now. I feel good. Week one is complete and I got one more left, they say," James told reporters.
"If everything continues to go well, I'm on target, I'm on pace, I'm feeling better every day."
The 30-year-old was advised not to attend games on the bench last week as it was deemed "bad for his back", but he is expected to travel with the team on their road trip of the Western Conference.
