Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker suffered a sprained left knee during Monday night's win over the Phoenix Suns and he did not return.
Parker picked up the injury in the third quarter and coach Jason Kidd said after the game that the rookie would have to be examined further on Tuesday.
The second overall Draft pick's knee appeared to buckle on a drive to the basket before he collided with Phoenix's PJ Tucker and he was unable to get to his feet immediately after.
Parker had to be carried off the court by his teammates, with Zaza Pachulia expressing hope that he can make a speedy recovery given his importance to the team.
The 19-year-old had eight points and three rebounds in 15 minutes on Monday and he is averaging 12.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game so far this season.
