The New York Knicks have said that Carmelo Anthony is likely to play against the San Antonio Spurs later today.
The forward has missed the last three games, which have all resulted in losses for the Knicks, with an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old, who has averaged 26.8 points per game this season, returned to practice on Monday, but is still experiencing swelling in the ankle.
However, New York will be without Metta World Peace, who has a knee injury, while Pablo Prigioni is doubtful with a toe problem.
