New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is reportedly upset with the team for selecting Kristaps Porzingis in the NBA Draft.
Nineteen-year-old Porzingis averaged 10.7 points per game for Cajasol Seville in the Spanish league last season, and was snapped up by the Knicks last night.
However, ESPN reports that Anthony doesn't believe Porzingis can immediately contribute to the team, and feels betrayed by president Phil Jackson, who he insists lied to him.
The report goes on to suggest that Anthony believes that the team will do worse this season than they did in the last campaign.
The Knicks finished bottom of the Eastern Conference with 17 wins and 64 defeats.
