Team England boxer Anthony Fowler has revealed his delight after booking his spot in the semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games.
The middleweight is now guaranteed at least a bronze medal after moving past Kenyan Nickson Otieno Abaka in the quarter-finals in Glasgow.
"I'm not being big-headed but it was like a spar for me... I could have beaten him any way I wanted, I could have stood with him, I could have boxed him, I could have countered him, but I did the safe thing," he told reporters.
"I've got a lot of energy left and I didn't have to dig in. It was a good clean performance."
Fowler also spoke to Sports Mole following the fight. The interview can be found here.
