Team England bronze medallist Sam Maxwell has said that, in time, he will take the positives from his exploits at the Commonwealth Games this summer.
Light-welterweight boxer Maxwell had already secured a bronze medal entering his semi-final clash with Josh Taylor, but lost out in the last-four clash with the Scot.
Maxwell revealed his disappointment following the bout, but has vowed to look back on the experience with pride.
"I hate losing more than anything, but in a few weeks I will look back on these two weeks I have spent here and it will be the greatest moment of my life, winning the bronze medal and I will be proud of myself," he told Sports Mole.
Maxwell also revealed that he will take a short break before returning to the ring.
"I will be going on holiday for a while and then we go to Kazakhstan in September and start training all over again for the World Championships," he added.
Taylor will face Junias Jonas in the final tomorrow.
