Kell Brook has said that he is fine and recovering after being stabbed last year.
IBF welterweight champion Brook has admitted that he feared he might never walk again after being the victim of a machete attack while on holiday in Tenerife last September. He sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the leg.
Brook told reporters: "Lying on that hospital bed, right next to a window, no-one speaking English. I was wondering if I would walk again, never mind fight. I did not know.
"But now I am great, very fit and healthy. My leg is bang on fine and I've worked hard."
Brook is undefeated, having won all 33 professional bouts in his career.
