Amir Khan says that he will put on a show for the Sheffield crowd when he takes on Julio Diaz tomorrow.

Amir Khan has said that he is a different fighter upon returning to England for his first fight since a technical decision over Paul McCloskey two years ago.

The 26-year-old, now trained by Virgil Hunter, takes on Julio Diaz at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield tomorrow night.

Since his fight with McCloskey, Khan has suffered two defeats, the first coming by way of a controversial decision against Lamont Peterson in December 2011, before a fourth-round knockout against Danny Garcia last year.

The Olympic silver medallist believes that he has changed as a fighter and has promised to put on a show for the fans.

"It is a new Amir Khan coming back to England after two years," Khan told Sky Sports News. "The last time they saw me here was against Paul McCloskey and I am a totally different fighter now.

"When I used to get in trouble, when under pressure, I used to go back to my old self but people will see a new guy and I hope they like the new style I bring to the table.

"It is going to be an amazing show, we are all looking forward to it. I will cause fireworks and it will be a brilliant fight. I won't let my fans down. Hopefully on Saturday we will be back to winning ways and it will take us to bigger fights."

His fight with McCloskey went to the scorecards in the sixth round after the Northern Irishman suffered a cut above his eye following an accidental clash of heads.
