American Shawn Porter has revealed that he is confident of inflicting the first defeat of Kell Brook's career next month.
The two unbeaten fighters will compete for Porter's IBF welterweight title in California on August 16, and the reigning titlist is unfazed about the challenge offered by the Brit, who will be competing in his first world title bout.
The 26-year-old told Esnewsreporting.com: "It's going to happen, I'm very confident.
"On August 16, that's where he's going to get his first loss. If I get in the ring with Kell Brook right now, I'm looking at him like he's the little guy. I'm just going to overpower you and wear you out."
Porter has 24 wins and one draw from his 25 matches in the paid ranks, while Brook has recorded 32 successive victories.
