Nathan Lyon has joined Mitchell Johnson in stating that Australia will not tone down their aggression in the second Ashes Test match against England in Adelaide.
The hosts took a 1-0 series lead with a 381-run demolition at The Gabba in Brisbane, although a lot has been made of the conduct of the Aussie players in the days following.
Both David Warner and Michael Clarke have come in for criticism, with the latter being fined for comments he made to James Anderson.
Johnson said yesterday that the Aussies would not accept any form of truce from the England camp, and the 29-year-old spinner, who took four wickets in the first Test, has echoed those words.
"We're not expecting anyone to roll over," he told reporters. "We know the quality of the England cricket side.
"We're going to have to stand up and start that fight again. That's the way Australia play their best cricket.
"We know where the line is and we don't step over it. We're going to continue to play aggressive, hard cricket."
The second Test gets underway on December 5.
