England have beaten India by six wickets in their T20 match at Old Trafford.
The tourists batted first and were 104-1 at one stage, before Jade Dernbach cleared up the tail end to leave them 165 all out.
As with much of their recent 4-0 Test series loss, Rahul Dravid, making his T20 international debut, proved to be India's most effective batsman. He hit three sixes off three balls in the eleventh over before the wickets began to tumble.
England's turn at the crease started in the worst possible way when debutant Alex Swales was out for a duck with the second ball.
Kevin Pietersen hit 34, but it was Eoin Morgan's 49 which steadied England and set them on the path to victory.
Samit Patel hit three boundaries in the final over, breaking the head of his bat clean from the handle on one delivery, to secure the win.
