England captain Alastair Cook has conceded that his side have been "outskilled" by India in the one-day international series between the two sides.
Trailing 2-0 with two matches left to play, hosting England were defeated by nine wickets as the tourists wrapped up the series at Edgbaston this afternoon.
Reflecting on the performance and the series as a whole, Cook told Sky Sports News: "It was a very tough day. We have played some bad cricket and I don't know why.
"India have outskilled us - they fielded better than us, bowled better than us and batted better than us. It's always tough when you lose three games pretty quickly."
The two teams will conclude the five-match series at Headingley on Friday.
