England captain Alastair Cook has admitted that the dressing room is a "tough place to be" following their late defeat to Australia in their second one-day international at The Gabba.
England needed just one wicket to grab their first victory Down Under this winter, but James Faulkner batted the Aussies to glory with just three balls remaining.
"It took an unbelievable innings to beat us today," Cook told Sky Sports News. "It is an emotional dressing room now, a tough place to be but when we look at it tomorrow in the cold light of day, it is an astonishing innings that beat us.
"I am proud of the way the lads stuck in. Little things needed to go our way, but they didn't quite do that."
The Aussies currently lead the five-match series 2-0.
