Joe Root scores 182 as England are bowled all out for 464, but claim an early West Indies wicket before lunch.

Joe Root starred for England by hitting an unbeaten knock of 182 runs before the team were bowled all out for 464 by the West Indies shortly before lunch on day four of the second Test in Grenada.

The tourists headed into today's play with a lead of 74 runs and four wickets remaining, but they suffered an early blow when Jos Buttler edged off Devendra Bishoo's delivery just after hitting a boundary.

After Buttler left the field with just 13 runs to his name, Chris Jordan eventually followed when he was run out after hitting 16 off 28 balls.

Despite wickets falling around him, Root continued to dominate the attack as he completed a fourth Test 150 and kept totting up his nation's lead on the board.

Bishoo impressed again with the ball by forcing Stuart Broad's attempt into the hands of Devon Smith. After the Englishman was sent back to the pavilion on a duck, James Anderson came on to replace him, but he was run out on just two runs.

After an innings break, Anderson returned to his comfort zone and claimed an early wicket by bowling out Smith, who mustered just two runs off seven balls.

Kraigg Braithwaite (5*) and Darren Bravo (15*) will return to the crease for the afternoon session on 22-1, needing to chase 143 runs.
