Kraigg Brathwaite completes his fourth Test century shortly before the close of play on day four of the second Test against England.

Kraigg Brathwaite completed his fourth Test century for the West Indies shortly before the close of play of day four of the second Test against England in Grenada this evening as the hosts reached 202-2 at stumps.

The centurion and Darren Bravo resumed after tea with the host nation still 43 runs adrift of England's first-innings total, but the latter soon passed his half-century as the duo continued their second-wicket stand.

The pair were split just a few overs later though as Stuart Broad sent Bravo back to the pavilion for 69, with the batsman edging a ball back to Jos Buttler.

Marlon Samuels helped Brathwaite level the scores off some wayward spin bowling from Joe Root midway through the evening session, giving the West Indies a chance to build a lead before the close of play.

Chris Jordan thought that he had trapped Brathwaite lbw shortly before stumps, preventing the opening batsman from bringing up his ton, but the review confirmed that Brathwaite got his bat to it first.

Brathwaite continued to pick up the runs, closing in on three figures with the light fading and just a couple of overs remaining in the day, eventually guiding a two past cover to bring up his century.

Brathwaite will resume on 101, while Samuels continues on an unbeaten 22 with the West Indies opening up a 35-run lead.
