AC Milan have been held to a goalless draw against AEK Athens in Thursday's Europa League meeting at San Siro.
The visitors were quickest out of the starting blocks and pressed their opponents, forcing four corners in quick succession.
Milan soon settled into the game and Suso's cross into the box from the right was bundled home by Patrick Cutrone, but the move was ruled out for offside.
Although the Rossoneri weighed in with a myriad of chances, AEK forced Gianluigi Donnarumma into several saves, with Lazaros Christodoulopoulos and Petros Mantalos coming close before the break.
Neither side could break the deadlock come half time and, despite Vincenzo Montella's charges upping the gears in the second half, AEK goalkeeper Giannis Anestis was able to repel all the efforts that came his way.
The result keeps Milan top of Group D on seven points, with AEK in second on five points.
