A goal from Andrea Bertolacci has given AC Milan a 1-0 lead over Lazio at the halfway stage of their Serie A match this evening.
The visitors made the brighter start to the match and Giacomo Bonaventura came close early on with a powerful strike that went inches over the bar.
Milan continued to pose more of a threat and in the 25th minute they took the lead when Federico Marchetti spilled Alessio Cerci's low shot into the path of Bertolacci, who made no mistake to slot in the rebound from close range.
They almost doubled their advantage 12 minutes later as Cerci latched on to Riccardo Montolivo's long ball over the top, before curling a strike beyond the keeper and against the far post.
Lazio struggled to create any meaningful attempts, with their first shot on goal coming from Felipe Anderson just before half time, but his weak effort failed to trouble Gianluigi Donnarumma.
