Re-live the Serie A clash between AC Milan and Juventus with Sports Mole's minute-by-minute text commentary.

Juventus headed into their Serie A encounter against AC Milan at San Siro on Sunday with an unbeaten record away from home in the league.

However, the Italian champions and current league leaders lost 1-0 to the Rossoneri, thanks to Robinho's first-half penalty.

Read how it all unfolded in our minute-by minute live commentary below.

Hello and welcome to Sports Mole’s live coverage of the Serie A clash between AC Milan and Juventus. This is one of the biggest games not only in Italian football but in European football as well, and you can follow all the action live here.
Heading into tonight’s encounter at San Siro, Juve find themselves at the top of the league standings with 32 points from 13 matches, four points clear of second-place Fiorentina.
On the other hand, Milan are struggling in 13th place with just 15 points from 13 matches, just four points above the relegation zone.
Team news coming up now...
Milan Starting Lineup: Abbiati; De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Constant; Montolivo, De Jong, Nocerino; Robinho, Boateng, El Shaarawy
Juventus Starting Lineup: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Vucinic, Quagliarella
The big news for Milan tonight is that Robinho is back in coach Massimiliano Allegri’s lineup and will be partnered in attack by Stephan El Shaarawy and Kevin-Prince Boateng. Massimo Ambrosini, Daniele Bonera, Alexandre Pato, Luca Antonini, Muntari and Djamel Mesbah all are out of the squad.
Juventus too have injury concerns of their own, as centre-back Giorgio Chiellini has failed to recover from his calf injury that he picked up against Chelsea in midweek. Martin Caceres replaces the Italian in Antonio Conte’s backline.
Mirko Vucinic starts in attack for the Bianconeri along with Fabio Quagliarella. Mauricio Isla is preferred to Stephan Lichtsteiner in the lineup.
Fifteen minutes to kickoff at San Siro. This promises to be a very exciting game of football and stay on this page to follow all the action live.
The player to watch for Milan tonight will certainly be a certain Stephan El Shaarawy. The young striker has certainly been the best player for the Rossoneri so far this season and has scored 10 goals in all competitions.
It’s just 10 minutes to kickoff now, as anticipation is building up inside San Siro.
As we wait for what could be the game of the weekend, let us look at what the two camps had to say ahead of tonight’s clash...
Bojan Krkic: “This is a great opportunity for us. It’s true that every game is a chance to climb the table, but beating the Bianconeri would be a huge boost. Juve are strong as a team unit and as individuals, but we have champions too. We are in front of our fans and above all we are Milan. We’ve got to work hard, but know that we can win this. We have to focus on maintaining possession. It all depends on us.”
Andrea Barzagli: “I've seen a few of Milan's recent games. And I don't think their attacking threat depends solely on El Shaarawy. He's going through a good moment of form, but we can't just focus on him. We have studied Milan and know what they can do. They may be struggling, but they have all the means to get back up to where they were before.”
The players are on to the pitch now, as kickoff is a matter of moments away.
And here we kick off with the action...
It's been a bright and positive start to the match at San Siro, as both sides are looking up for the game. The crowd is in loud voice tonight.
Mattia De Sciglio! Brilliant play there from the Milan player, who cuts inside from the right and gets past Andrea PIrlo before unleashing a shot that goes just past the far post.
Now Juventus go on the attack down the left, as Mirko Vucinic and Kwadwo Asamoah combine, but Mattia De Sciglio makes a good recovery.
VIDAL! The Juventus midfielder blasts a shot from distance that goes wide of the Milan goal. Arturo Vidal has been one of the best players for the Bianconeri this season, and he will be looking to cause Milan all sorts of problems.
ROBINHO! Oh, the Brazilian is sent through by Kevin-Prince Boateng, but the assistant referee flags him offside.
The start has been electric at San Siro - end-to-end stuff with intricate passing movements. Sensational!
Good defensive work there from Mauricio Isla, who recovers the ball in the midfield for Juventus just as Milan were about to launch an attack.
Good defence there from Philippe Mexes as Mirko Vucinic was trying to find Fabio Quagliarella on the edge of the Milan area.
MILAN! Robinho moves forward and slips a pass to De Sciglio, whose shot forces Buffon into making an important save!
Fifteen minutes gone in this match and it remains goalless. But it has been tremendously exciting, with Milan having the better of the chances.
Antonio Nocerino picks up the first yellow card of the evening for his challenge on Martin Caceres. This is unlikely to be the only caution of the match.
AMELIA! Fabio Quagliarella takes a shot on the turn at the Milan goal, but the Rossoneri goalkeeper makes a good save. However, the Italian striker is deemed offside, apparently.
Robinho has looked very lively and bright in this match. The Brazilian forward is actually one of the players whose future at Milan is wrapped up in uncertainty.
Brilliant tackle there from Andrea Pirlo, who dispossess Robinho just in front of the Juventus penalty area. Wonderful defensive work from one of the most gifted playmakers in the world. Of all time.
The intensity is still there in the game, but chances are few and far between now. Juventus are struggling to thread in the final ball, to be honest. Pirlo has yet to assert himself on this match.
EL SHAARAWY! Brilliant counterattacking move there from Milan, with Robinho, Boateng and El Shaarawy combining. The Italian youngster shoots at goal from outside the area, but Buffon makes a comfortable save.
Quagliarella receives a ball in a tight spot on the edge of the Juventus area and takes a shot on the turn, but fails to keep it on target. End-to-end action at San Siro.
PENALTY! Milan have been awarded a penalty here! Robinho floats in a cross from the right that Antonio Nocerino heads towards goal, but it is handled by Mauricio Isla.
Isla is shown the yellow card for his handball offence, as Robinho braces himself to take the spot kick.
GOAL ROBINHO SCORES! The Brazilian steps up to take the spot kick and strolls it past Buffon. 1-0 to Milan.
Was that a handball? Juventus players were protesting against it, as they felt that Isla did not intend to block Nocerino's header with his hand. A controversial decision, I think.
BOATENG! The Milan midfielder shoots at the Juve goal but it is easily claimed by Buffon. Allegri's team have looked a very different side tonight, a very hungry and determined side.
QUAGLIARELLA! The Italian striker once again takes a quick shot towards the Milan goal but fails to trouble Marco Amelia as his attempt goes wide.
Ten minutes to half-time and Milan lead Juventus 1-0 at the moment. This is a Milan side that started the game 13th in the league standings, while Juventus were, are and will be in pole position for one more week at least.
Milan earn a free kick in a dangerous position, as Andrea Barzagli commits a foul on Stephan El Shaarawy. A great chance for the home side to go 2-0 up...
Oh, that free kick goes to waste. Robinho tees up Riccardo Montolivo, who takes a ferocious shot that deflects off a Milan player and goes out for a Juventus throw-in.
Cannot believe that it is almost half-time. It has been breathless throughout, I must say, a wonderful match with good, passing football. Entertaining as well as intriguing.
Poor delivery from Isla as he is forced to give an early cross from under pressure from Nocerino. His cross sails over the Milan crossbar and goes out for a goalkick.
Leonardo Bonucci is shown the yellow card for his desperate foul on El Shaarawy just outside the Juventus penalty area, as the Milan striker was surging towards goal.
Montolivo takes the free kick... It is low and on target, but Buffon does not have to move to claim it with ease.
Another good attacking move from Milan there down the right, as the Juventus defence is stretched. The Rossoneri are all over the Bianconeri at the moment.
Milan earn a corner in injury time. Great chance for them to go 2-0 up...
No, Milan fail to create anything productive from that set piece, as the referee blows the half-time whistle.
What a sensational game of football this has been, absolutely brilliant! Both sides started the contest brightly, but as the first half progressed, Milan began to control the proceedings more and more.
Robinho's goal from the penalty spot just after the half-hour mark is nothing more than what Milan deserve. Since that goal, the home side have been all over the visitors from Turin.
Stay on this page for all the second-half action live from San Siro between AC Milan and Juventus. It is 1-0 to the Rossoneri at the break, thanks to Robinho's penalty in the 31st minute.
The second-half action will resume in a matter of moments now...
And here we begin with the second-half action at San Siro, Milan lead Juventus 1-0 from the first half, thanks to Robinho's penalty just after the half-hour mark.
There was one change for Juventus at the break. Simone Padoin came in for a largely ineffective Mauricio Isla.
Milan once again on the attack, but Juve are able to fend them off. This time.
Juve on the attack now, as a cross is floated in from the right but it is headed away. It eventually falls to Asamoah, who tries to surge in but is stopped in his tracks.
BUFFON! Oh, what was he thinking!!! He accidentally passes the ball straight to El Shaarawy, who eventually loses the ball under pressure from Barzagli. That was a howler from Buffon!
The game is still intense and I have to say that this has been one of the best matches I have seen anywhere in Europe so far this season.
VUCINIC! The Juve striker tries to volley home from a tight angle and when put under pressure from Mexes and fails to get a proper touch on the ball.
Pirlo has the chance to score from a direct free kick, as he lines up the set piece from 25 yards. However, he fails to get his shot over the wall and earns a corner for the Bianconeri, which they fail to capitalise on.
Ten minutes gone in the second half, and it remains 1-0 to Milan at San Siro. Juventus are gradually starting to assert themselves on the match, but the hosts look more energetic and robust at the moment.
OUCH! Montolivo goes down under a tackle from PIrlo and seems to be in some pain. But he should be fine to resume playing soon.
Another change for Juventus. Sebastian Giovinco comes on for Fabio Quagliarella.
Half an hour left in this pulsating Serie A encounter between AC Milan and Juventus at San Siro; half an hour for the Italian champions to earn at least a point; half an hour for the home side to bag a very encouraging and potentially season-revitalising victory.
I just saw the replay of the Quagliarella substitution. He was not happy at being substituted at all!
VUCINIC! The Juventus striker shoots at goal from outside the penalty box with venom as a cross from Giovinco comes in, but it sails over the bar.
GIOVINCO! Oh, what a wonderful goal that would have been! Padoin whips in a cross from the right that Giovinco tries to smash into the Milan net with an acrobatic overhead kick, but fails to get a proper connection with the ball. His effort goes harmless wide of the Milan goal.
Milan make their first change of the evening. Robinho comes off, and on comes Giampaolo Pazzini.
Milan have been on the backfoot for almost all of the second half so far, as Juventus are pressing on for the equaliser. However, Antonio Conte's side are lacking imagination and are failing to penetrate down the middle.
NOCERINO! The Milan midfielder marches down the midfield and then shoots from over 25 yards, but his ambitious effort is far from target and does not trouble Buffon at all.
Good defensive header there from Mexes, as he clears a Padoin cross from the right for a corner. Simone Padoin has looked very lively and creative down the right flank since coming on at the start of the second half.
Oh, Milan scramble to clear a Juventus ball inside the area. It is absolutely intense, this game.
Juve are getting ready to make their third and final substitution of the evening.
Substitution for Juventus. Kwadwo Asamoah comes off, and on comes Paul Pogba. Juventus are going all out now, it seems. They are trailing Milan 1-0 at the moment.
Milan too make a change. Cristian Zapata replaces Philippe Mexes.
BONUCCI! That is an important interception from the Juventus centre-back, as he pushes out an El Shaarawy cross out for a corner. If he had failed to do so, then Pazzini would have certainly slotted the ball home from just two yards out.
Less than 15 minutes of normal time remain. It is absolutely electrifying at San Siro and the game is delicately poised at 1-0 to Milan. Anything can happen in the final minutes really...
Milan launch a counterattack down the right, as Pazzini tries to play a crossfield pass to El Shaarawy on the far left, but fails. However, the Rossoneri eventually regain possession of the ball and earn a free kick 30 yards from the Juve goal.
Montolivo takes the free kick, but the Bianconeri eventually clear the danger away. The Rossoneri look to make third and final change of the evening.
Montolivo surges down the right wing for Milan but he eventually loses the ball under pressure from two Juventus players. There was no one in a Milan shirt to help him out there.
Caceres make a good defensive clearance and concede a corner, as Milan continue to attack.
MARIO YEPES! The Milan centre-back heads the corner powerfully towards the Juventus goal, but Buffon makes a very good save.
AMELIA! Wonderful save from the AC Milan goalkeeper, as he keeps out Vucinic's attempt. Giovinco did a great job in place that pass for his teammate.
Milan make another change. Mathieu Flamini comes on for Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Five minutes remain in what has been an absolutely pulsating game of football that is still finely balanced. Milan lead 1-0 at the moment, but Juventus are calling all the shots now.
Another corner to Juventus that goes to waste. Milan are just about holding on, as San Siro is bursting with noise. Just three minutes for the Rossoneri to hold on to what could be a season-changing win.
Claudio Marchisio gets into the referee's books now. He is the third Juventus player to have been cautioned tonight.
Four minutes of injury time have been awarded. The momentum of the match has not dropped at all in the second half, as Vucinic is stopped in his tracks while trying to invade the Milan penalty area.
Padoin floats in yet another good cross from the right that Giovinco heads wide. Just two minutes remain for the Bianconeri to score an equaliser.
FLAMINI! The Milan midfielder makes a last-ditch clearance as the ball fell to the feet of Paul Pogba inside the area.
Now Giovinco is shown the yellow card, as time is running out for Juventus to score the equaliser.
It's all over at San Siro as AC Milan have defeated Juventus 1-0 in their Serie A clash. In what was a pulsating game of football, Robinho's penalty just after the half-hour mark proved to be the difference.
I hope that you enjoyed our live coverage of the match here on Sports Mole. Have a good night. It's goodbye from me for now.
