AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli tells the club to 'do everything it can' to keep hold of manager Massimiliano Allegri for next season.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has urged the club to keep hold of manager Massimiliano Allegri for next season.

Allegri, who signed Balotelli from Manchester City in January, has recently been linked with Serie A rivals Roma.

"When I got here Allegri was in charge and we get on really well," the striker told Mediaset Premium.

"I hope he stays, as I'm really happy with him. If I were the club, I'd do everything to keep hold of him."

Allegri guided Milan to the Serie A title in 2011 following his arrival from Cagliari in 2009.
