AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien has revealed that he is enjoying life at the club.
The 31-year-old, who arrived from Chelsea in January, insists that it was always a dream for him to play for the Rossoneri.
"Milan is good and I am settling in nicely which is important," he told SuperSport.com. "Everyone is friendly at the club and are looking after me well so I can't complain. It's all good and once I get to know the city and people very well, I am sure I will enjoy it more.
"Yes [a lack of first team football at Chelsea] was one of the reasons I moved, but more importantly the Coach at Milan personally called me and showed that he wanted me as part of his project and that was important for me. I had always said I will like to play for Milan at some stage in my career so when the opportunity came up I grabbed it with both hands.
"I am enjoying Serie A at present from the games I have played in and watched from the bench. It is different to the Premier League in terms of pace and some of the tactical awareness and play and I am sure there is more to be learnt in the weeks and months ahead."
Milan are currently ninth in the Serie A table.
