Alessandro Nesta has hinted that he is considering retiring from professional football.
The former Italy international is a free agent following his release from AC Milan after a ten-year stint at the San Siro.
Despite being linked with a move to Major League Soccer in the US, the 36-year-old has admitted that he is yet to receive an offer to tempt him back into the game.
"The only place I want to play right now is on the beach," he told Goal.com. "I don't have a shot to play in MLS.
"I tried to play [in the league] but I never received any offers."
Nesta made 17 Serie A appearances for Milan last season.
