AC Milan midfielder Adel Taarabt has expressed his delight at scoring on his debut for the club.
The midfielder, joined the Italian giants on loan from Queens Park Rangers last month, found the back of the net for the Rossoneri during their 3-1 defeat against Napoli at the weekend.
"It has been a dream for me to score on my debut. I am still very disappointed with the result, because we did not win," he told the club's official website.
"I love this team and I want to do everything possible to try to stay at this great club. I was pleased with my goal but I am not 100% fit but I should be fine in a few weeks. With Pepe Reina in goal it was quite a challenge, as he made a couple of good saves.
"Napoli is a great team with a lot of quality, they get to the ball and they are strong. I get on well with Mario Balotelli and I am happy to play alongside him. He is a striker, but works very well for the team, for us. I dedicate the goal to my family."
Milan are next in action when they face Bologna in Serie A on Friday.
