AC Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel has admitted that he could sign a new contract at the San Siro if the club wants him to stay.
The Dutch veteran, who is out of contract at the end of the season, was expected to finish his career at former club PSV Eindhoven.
However, the 35-year-old could put that move on hold in favour of playing on with the Serie A leaders.
"I'm happy at Milan and will speak to vice-president Adriano Galliani soon to understand what they want," Van Bommel told Sky Italia.
"I have to thank Galliani and director Ariedo Braida for signing me at my age. I've always said that I want to end my career at PSV but I don't know when that will happen."
Van Bommel moved to Milan from Bayern Munich in January 2011.
