AC Milan are reportedly interested in bringing Mattia Destro to the San Siro in exchange for Stephan El Shaarawy.
Destro has endured a frustrating season at Roma and has mainly been used as a substitute in recent weeks.
It has recently been reported that Milan have attempted to loan the striker until the end of the season.
After seeing that approach fail, they may offer El Shaarawy to their Serie A rivals in a swap deal, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
El Shaarawy has found the back of the net just once for Milan this season.
