Adeoye Yusuff, who had until last month been working as a waiter, came off the bench to score twice and help Dagenham & Redbridge secure all three points in their League Two clash with Accrington Stanley this afternoon.
Lee Molyneux's early shot took a deflection and crashed into the side-netting as Accrington created some good chances in the opening exchanges.
They went in front just before half time after John O'Sullivan's cross was swiped at by Kal Naismith. It eventually came out to Sean Maguire, who stroked the ball home to give his side the lead.
After the break, Brian Saah had an effort saved on the line by Aaron Chapman before Yusuff found space to charge into the area and fire home an equalising goal for Dagenham.
Yusuff then got his second after once again being allowed to run through the Accrington defence to finish.
Tom Aldred thought he had got an immediate equaliser for the hosts when his header bounced off the crossbar and down but the referee waved away his side's protests, meaning the Daggers went home with a 1-2 win.
