Rapid Vienna are through to the third qualifying round for the Champions League after a 3-2 away win at Ajax.
The first leg was drawn 2-2, giving Ajax a slight advantage, but the away side took the lead after 14 minutes when Stefan Stangl crossed for striker Robert Beric to head in at the back post.
Ajax thought that they equalised just minutes later through Davy Klaassen, but the referee ruled that he fouled defender Jan Novota before blasting the ball in from close range.
The Dutch side continued to push forward, and striker Viktor Fischer went close with a low shot across the face of goal which missed by inches.
However, Vienna doubled their lead when Louis Schaub fired a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Ajax got themselves back into the tie shortly after the break as striker Arkadiusz Milik volleyed the ball beyond the keeper.
After a series of missed chances, the home side put themselves back in pole position to go through as Nemanja Gudelj smashed the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the box after a scramble.
However, just as Ajax had the momentum Rapid Vienna re-took the lead as Schaub curled a shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
The Austrian side held on to secure a 5-4 aggregate win.
