Ankaragucu will attempt to make it three consecutive wins when they welcome Kasimpasa to the Eryaman Stadium on Saturday.
Meanwhile, two defeats and a draw in their last three matches has seen the visitors drop to 14th in the table with 33 points after 30 games.
Match preview
Ankaragucu head into Sunday's clash having picked up 34 points from 29 games, which leaves them in 12th place in the standings.
AG have been embroiled in the relegation battle for much of the season, but Tolunay Kafkas's side gained a much-needed 3-1 victory against relegation rivals Giresunspor last Thursday, courtesy of a brace from Ali Sowe and a strike from Taylan Antalyali.
Ankaragucu then built on that with a crucial three-point haul in the league with a 3-0 triumph over rock-bottom Hatayspor to gain some much-needed breathing space in the race to beat the drop, as they are now seven points clear of 16th-placed Giresunspor.
AG now have the chance to potentially make it three wins on the spin and move up to as high as 11th in the table should other results go their way this weekend.
As for Kasimpasa, they find themselves one point behind their opponents heading into this fixture, after enduring a tough season in the Turkish Super Lig, having managed 33 points from their 30 games thus far, with 15 of those outings ending in defeat.
A 2-1 defeat at home to Konyaspor last weekend now spells three games without a win for Selcuk Inan's side since their 2-0 victory over reigning champions Trabzonspor.
Mamadou Fall opened the scoring for the Apaches in the 13th minute, but Konyaspor struck back through Francisco Calvo in the 30th minute, and Mame Biram Diouf gave the visitors the lead moments before the interval.
Kasimpasa will now attempt to quickly bounce back from that demoralising defeat and end their winless run when they travel to Ankara this weekend, but the Apaches have struggled on the road this season, picking up just nine points from 13 games – the third-worst record in the entire division.

Team News
Ali Sowe is the club's top scorer this season with 12 strikes in the league so far this campaign, so he will retain his place up top this weekend.
Nihad Mujakic, Atakan Cankaya and Kevin Malcuit look set to make up a three-man defensive unit, while Taylan Antalyali and Lamine Diack could retain their places in the engine room.
As for the visitors, Papy Djilobodji missed the defeat against Konyaspor due to suspension, but he could return to the starting lineup this weekend.
Sadik Ciftpinar and Daniel Graovac were also absentees due to injury, so Selcuk Inan may opt to start Ryan Donk and Tarkan Serbest in the centre of a back four, flanked either side by Fabiano and Mortadha Ben Ouanes.
Ankaragucu possible starting lineup:
Akkan; Mujakic, Cankaya, Malcuit; Kitsiou, Antalyali, Diack, Hankousek; Zahid, Kilinc; Sowe
Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Guvenc; Fabiano, Donk, Serbest, Ben Ouanes; Tirpan, Kara; Eskihellac, Eysseric, Fall; Bahoken
We say: Ankaragucu 1-0 Kasimpasa
Only one point separates these teams heading into this match, so we are expecting it to be a tightly-contested affair.
That being said, Ankaragucu seemed to have turned a corner under their new boss, so we fancy them to edge this one on Saturday.
