Arouca scored two late goals to rescue a point against Belenenses in Portugal's Primeira Liga this evening.
Roberto was first to test Belenenses goalkeeper Hugo Ventura in the 20th minute, but his header was saved.
It took 38 minutes for Belenenses to break through the defence, only for Miguel Rosa's header to be denied by the keeper.
They took the lead three minutes later, though, when a corner was cleared to the edge of the box and Andre Sousa found the bottom-left corner.
Luis Leal doubled the lead in the 71st minute when he hit the back of the net from 10 yards.
However, debutant Nuno Valente dragged Arouca back into the match when he directed a free kick past Ventura from 25 yards.
Roberto had a chance to equalise with 10 minutes remaining, but his header was saved.
The comeback was complete in spectacular fashion just four minutes from time when Hugo Basto ensured that the spoils were shared with a 40-yard equaliser.
