Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed that he is relishing the chance to take on Napoli in the Champions League tonight, primarily to come up against a trio of former Real Madrid teammates.
Ozil played with Gonzalo Higuain, Raul Albiol and Jose Callejon during his three years at the Bernabeu, with all four players deciding to leave the Spanish capital last summer.
While Ozil made a £42.4m move to the Emirates, Higuain led a summer exodus to Napoli, with Albiol and Callejon deciding to join Rafael Benitez in Serie A.
The German international has used Twitter to convey his excitement at a reunion with the trio, but warned them not to expect any favours in the Group F encounter.
He tweeted: "Looking forward to meet on tuesday Higuain, Albiol and Callejon. But: sorry. We have no presents... #championsleague #ucl"
The 24-year-old has won four successive games since joining Arsenal, while Benitez is also unbeaten at Napoli so far this season.
