Former Arsenal star Robert Pires has admitted that Arsene Wenger's team need to play the "perfect game" against Monaco to have any hope of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Gunners face an uphill struggle in France this evening following the first leg of their last-16 clash, which ended in a shock 3-1 defeat at the Emirates.
"In my opinion, it was an accident against Monaco," Pires told the Daily Star. "It's not finished. Arsenal still have a great opportunity to go through. I think anything is possible, but they need to play the perfect game."
The last time that a team scored at least three goals against Monaco was back on August 17.
