Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will reportedly start on the left wing during England's opening match of Euro 2012 against France later today.
Manager Roy Hodgson is believed to have opted for the 18-year-old ahead Liverpool winger Stewart Downing.
Should the Arsenal youngster be given the nod by Hodgson, it will be his second start for the senior side and only his third international cap.
He is expected to form part of a four-man midfield along with captain Steven Gerrard, Scott Parker and James Milner.
