Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League meeting with Aston Villa.

Arsenal return to Premier League action on Sunday evening as they welcome Aston Villa to the Emirates Stadium.

Although the Gunners have endured a mixed start to the campaign, three successive victories in all competitions have got the club back on track.

One of those wins came against Manchester United at Old Trafford, a result which has moved Mikel Arteta's side into ninth position ahead of squaring off against the West Midlands outfit.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their final fixture before the November international break.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 8 (vs. Villa)

Nelson sustained a knee injury earlier this week, something which led to the winger missing out in the Europa League on Thursday. Even if the academy graduate recovers in time for the weekend, the Englishman is likely to be left out of the squad.

Pablo Mari

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Leeds United)

Mari has been absent since June but is now in the final stages of his recovery from an ankle injury. The centre-back is expected to return to full training after this month's international break.

Calum Chambers

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Leeds)

Chambers is now back in full training having not featured at all this calendar year. However, the Englishman, who has recovered from a serious knee injury, will not be risked until after the international break.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

While Martinelli is making steady progress in his recovery from a knee injury, the Brazilian is still facing a race against time to feature before the end of 2020.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no suspension concerns ahead of this encounter.
