Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League encounter with Crystal Palace.

Arsenal will hope to spoil Patrick Vieira's return party in North London when they face off against Crystal Palace in Monday's Premier League battle.

The Gunners were unable to secure a fourth win on the bounce just before the international break, as they were held to a goalless stalemate away at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Mikel Arteta's side will begin the weekend in 11th place before gameweek eight fixtures kick off, but Vieira will travel to the Emirates desperate to get one over his former club.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Granit Xhaka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Granit Xhaka suffered a "significant" knee injury in the derby win over Tottenham Hotspur last month and has been ruled out for the next three months, but Arteta has affirmed that the midfielder is "progressing well" in his recovery.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: October 18 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Gabriel Martinelli reportedly took part in a friendly win over Queens Park Rangers during the international break, but the out-of-favour forward has suffered a "minor injury" and is doubtful for this clash.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
