Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has insisted that club record signing Nicolas Pepe is "unbelievable" in training for the Gunners.
Having scored 22 goals for Lille in Ligue 1 last season, the Ivorian became the club's most expensive transfer of all time when he joined the North London club for £72m over the summer.
However, Pepe has failed to impress this season, managing just one goal from open play in 14 Premier League appearances.
Speaking to football.london about his teammate, Leno said: "His left foot is unbelievable. Also his one-against-one against defenders is unbelievable.
"When he has space, he can be a key player for us in transition. I think and I'm sure that we'll have a lot of fun with him."
Freddie Ljungberg raised eyebrows by excluding Pepe from his starting XI for his first two games as Arsenal interim coach.
Pepe's first goal from open play for the Gunners came in the club's 3-1 win over West Ham United on Monday night - a wonderful curling effort into the top corner.
