Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has paid tribute to the club for the signing of Mesut Ozil.
The German midfielder joined the Gunners on a five-year contract on the final day of the transfer window for a club-record fee of £42.5m from Real Madrid.
The Spaniard is unsure as to whether Ozil can help Arsenal win the Premier League, but is delighted to have him in the same team.
"I am very happy," Cazorla told Marca. "He is a spectacular footballer. Let's enjoy him and that we're lucky enough to learn at his side.
On whether Ozil can help Arsenal win the league, the Spaniard said: "We will see. He is a very important player and will fit well with the way we play. Hopefully we can fight with the big teams in the Premier League."
Both players are currently on international duty.
