England manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that he has not spoken to Arsene Wenger regarding the fitness of Jack Wilshere.
Wenger stated earlier this week that Wilshere was not 100% fit, but Hodgson has insisted that Wenger is aware of the importance of the midfielder to the England side.
The Fulham boss told Sky Sports News: "I speak to Arsene quite regularly and he's not said anything to me about it.
"As far as I am concerned, he fully realises that Jack Wilshere is an integral and important part of the England team.
"We play four days apart and he expects him to play his part."
Wilshere has featured in three of the four matches that the Gunners have played this season.
