Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has endorsed Prince Ali for this afternoon's FIFA presidential election in Zurich.
The Jordanian is one of five candidates, alongside Gianni Infantino, Sheikh Salman, Tokyo Sexwale and Jerome Champagne, in the running to succeed Sepp Blatter as president.
Blatter, who has held the role since 1998, announced last year that he will step down from his position amid allegations of widespread corruption within world football's governing body.
UEFA general secretary Infantino and Asian Football Confederation president Sheikh Salman are favourites to be elected by the end of Friday, but Ozil is hoping that Prince Ali will triumph in the vote.
This morning, the German World Cup winner tweeted: "Good luck today for the #FIFA presidential elections to my friend, Prince Ali! #Change #FIFAelection."
