Robin van Persie has given the biggest indication yet that he is ready to stay at Arsenal by confessing his love for the club.
The Dutch international's future at the Emirates Stadium has come into question recently, with his contract due to expire at the end of next season.
However, Van Persie has now insisted that he will hold discussions over an extension in the summer.
"I have been at Arsenal for eight years and I'm proud. At the end of the season I will sit down with [Arsene Wenger] and [Stan Kroenke]," Van Persie told Voetbal International.
"Then we will make a cup of coffee and sit down together. I am a true Gooner. I love this club and that's no secret."
Van Persie has been linked with moves to AC Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
