Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has admitted that he misses the humour and character of Emmanuel Eboue.
Wilshere will go up against the Ivory Coast international defender this weekend when Eboue returns to North London with Galatasaray for the Emirates Cup.
He told the club's official website: "He was a special character, he was good around the dressing room.
"Even if he was upset that he wasn't playing, he kept everyone's spirits up and was a happy guy.
"He is missed and it will be good to see him around the place. A few of the fans will be happy to see him as well."
Eboue played 214 times for Arsenal during seven seasons in the Premier League.
