Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur.

Premier League leaders Arsenal make their return to domestic action following the international break with Saturday's visit of Tottenham Hotspur for the North London derby.

The Gunners went into the September hiatus one point clear at the top of the table after William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira struck in a 3-0 win over Brentford on September 18.

Both Tottenham and Manchester City are only one adrift of Mikel Arteta's men in the table, and victory in Saturday's derby would therefore see Arsenal open up a four-point gap over their bitter rivals.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Tottenham, who thumped Leicester City 6-2 last time out.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Oleksandr Zinchenko was not available to represent Ukraine during the international period after picking up a calf problem, but Arsenal are reportedly hopeful that the left-back will be fit for his first North London derby.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Reiss Nelson has not made a single competitive appearance this season after sustaining a thigh injury over the summer, but the attacker is now back in training and could make his return to action in the derby.

Thomas Partey

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Thomas Partey had only just returned from a thigh injury against Brentford when he experienced knee discomfort during the international break. The midfielder missed Ghana's defeat to Brazil, but his absence was thought to have been precautionary more than anything else, and he should be fine for the weekend.

Mohamed Elneny

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Mohamed Elneny picked up a severe hamstring issue at the end of August, and the Egyptian midfielder is expected to remain sidelined until 2023.

Emile Smith Rowe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Emile Smith Rowe recently underwent surgery to address a groin problem that has been plaguing him for months, and the 22-year-old will now be out of action until December.

Cedric Soares

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: Unknown

Cedric Soares picked up a knock before the international break and was not fit to face Brentford, and he is now reported to be nursing a fresh issue which will rule him out of this game.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Head
Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Kieran Tierney had to come off with a head injury during Scotland's Nations League win over the Republic of Ireland on Saturday, but Steve Clarke confirmed that his withdrawal was a precautionary one, and he could be available this weekend.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match.
