Shkodran Mustafi has been selected as Laurent Koscielny's replacement for Arsenal's Premier League clash against Southampton at St Mary's this evening.
The French defender has failed to prove his fitness after recently suffering a calf injury, and as a result, manager Arsene Wenger has been forced to take him out of the team.
Other than the alteration in defence, Wenger has picked the same starting XI that sealed a 2-0 victory over Manchester United, with Danny Welbeck leading the line.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also keeps his place in the team, while Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka sit in midfield behind Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
As for Southampton, manager Claude Puel has also made just one change, replacing Nathan Redmond with Sofiane Boufal, who failed to complete 90 minutes in Sunday's goalless draw with Liverpool.
Southampton: Forster; Cedric, Stephens, Yoshida, Bertrand; Romeu, Davis; Ward-Prowse, Tadic, Redmond; Gabbiadini
Subs: Hassen, Caceres, Long, Boufal, Pied, Hojbjerg, Rodriguez
Arsenal: Cech; Holding, Mustafi, Monreal; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Xhaka, Gibbs; Ozil, Sanchez; Welbeck
