Arsenal have reportedly agreed to sell Lucas Torreira to Fiorentina once Dani Ceballos completes his return to the club.
Terms are understood to have been agreed and paperwork signed for Ceballos to return to Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid for the 2020-21 campaign.
Once that deal is officially confirmed, Italian outlet Labaro Viola reports that the Gunners will allow Torreira to join Fiorentina in a deal worth £24m overall.
The Uruguayan would initially move on a season-long loan for an £8m fee, with an obligation for Fiorentina to buy at the end of the campaign for a further £16m.
Torreira fell down the pecking order at Arsenal last season, completing the full 90 minutes on just three occasions after the turn of the year.
Manager Mikel Arteta views Ceballos and Granit Xhaka as his first-choice holding midfielders, while the club have also been heavily linked with a move for Thomas Partey but may need to sell the likes of Torreira in order to afford the Atletico Madrid man.
